Please note that the Center for International Business Studies at the Mays Business School manages the applications, program logistics, and payment for this program. The Study Abroad Programs Office is only responsible for registering the student participants through the online application.  Please see the CIBS website for more details.

May 25  - June 24, 2018
Helsinki, Finland

Travel to Finland and Estonia for five weeks with Dr. Panina and earn 6-credit hours. Participants will develop cross-cultural communication skills and gain valuable international exposure to the business environment in Finland and Estonia. The courses will be part of your Summer I 2018 registration.

A total of 6 credit hours are offered for this program.  Students will enroll in the following courses:
MGMT/IBUS 450: International Environment of Business
IBUS 456: European Integration & Business (will register for IBUS 301 holding course)

Business major or minor
Minimum of a 2.5 GPR
U3 or U4 classification (by summer 2018)
Approval of the professor
Must attend ALL program specific pre-departure orientations

Visit international businesses and learn local customs to enhance learning experience.

Program Cost
$5,000 + tuition (business majors)
$5,500 + tuition (non-business minors)

* Estimated cost includes airfare, meals, accommodation, travel documents, study abroad fee, cultural visits, estimated personal expenses and CIBS subsidy for Business majors.
